1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Relixo ("the Service"), operated by Relixo ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
These terms apply to all users of the Service, including business owners who register accounts and embed the Relixo widget on their websites.
2. Description of Service
Relixo provides an AI-powered customer support assistant that business owners can configure and embed on their websites. The Service allows businesses to:
- Create and configure an AI assistant trained on their business information
- Embed a chat widget on their website for their customers to use
- Monitor message usage through a dashboard
- Manage their subscription and billing
The AI responses are powered by OpenAI's language models. By using Relixo you acknowledge that AI responses may not always be accurate and should be reviewed accordingly.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service you must create an account by providing your business name, email address and a password. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm that you meet this requirement.
4. Free Trial
Relixo offers a 7-day free trial on all plans. No credit card is required to start your trial. At the end of the trial period your account will require an active paid subscription to continue using the Service.
5. Subscription and Billing
After your free trial ends, continued use of the Service requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis depending on the plan you select.
- Payments are processed securely through Paddle
- Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account
6. Message Limits
Each subscription plan includes a monthly message limit. Message counts reset at the beginning of each calendar month. If you reach your plan limit:
- Your AI assistant will inform customers that it is temporarily unavailable
- You can upgrade your plan at any time to restore access immediately
- Unused messages do not roll over to the next month
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful or prohibited purpose. You must not:
- Use the Service to harass, abuse or harm others
- Configure your assistant to provide false or misleading information to customers
- Attempt to reverse engineer, hack or disrupt the Service
- Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
8. Data and Privacy
By using Relixo you acknowledge that:
- We store your account information including your email, business name and assistant configuration
- Messages sent through your widget are processed by OpenAI's API to generate responses
- We do not store individual customer conversations from your widget
- We track message counts for billing and plan limit purposes
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, features and content, is owned by Relixo and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify or distribute any part of the Service without our express written permission.
You retain ownership of the business information and content you provide to configure your assistant. By providing this content you grant us a limited license to use it solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- AI responses will always be accurate or appropriate
- The Service will meet your specific business requirements
You use the Service at your own risk. We strongly recommend reviewing your assistant's responses regularly to ensure accuracy.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Relixo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data or business opportunities.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.
12. Cancellation and Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Upon termination your access to the Service will cease and your data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify existing users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jamaica.
